for photos and stops of interest. Afternoon free to enjoy the local sights of

Breakfast is followed by a cultural and environmental briefing before heading
North towards the quaint village of Phatang. Basic paddle instruction and a
short practice session is provided before taking to the mild waters of the Song
river by canoe. The day is spent passing shear limestone karsts and the delights
of river life, stopping off at choice caves along the way. After a small trek to
a view point, stop for lunch by the river where there is plenty of time for
relaxing and a swim in the cool water before heading downriver to the organic
farm. Here, see how silk is produced as well as sample the tasty mulberry tea
and fruit wines which are produce here. As the afternoon drifts away, approach Vang Vieng town reaching
the guesthouse to view the spectacular
mountain sunsets from the riverside balcony. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 3:
Vang Vieng -
Vientiane

An early morning breakfast before heading South for the village of Hin Heurp.
Here, take to the Lik River by kayak, passing through fun rapids and stunning
scenery. At midday take time to surf and swim the rapids or just relax in a
small cool gorge and enjoy a Lao BBQ picnic and fruits. The afternoon is spent
in calmer waters where there is a chance to see how the local fishermen catch the
prized crocodile fish, then into the steep gorges where there is ample
opportunity for base jumping (optional). The day ends at Vang Mun village where transport awaits
for transfer to Vientiane. Breakfast and lunch
included.
